Welcome 2021!!! Now that things are starting to calm down with COVID-19, we can tentatively plan some activities four our Seniors! Some fun events are in the works as we try to navigate this constantly changing path but the health and safety are a top priority. If you're interested in supporting or have any suggestions for events, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org
For all parents that are interested in helping or want to provide feedback/suggestions, we will be having a meeting on March 4, 2021 at 7:00 PM. We are so excited that we are finally able to put some plans into action.

Senior Activities & Events
Below are the proposed events for the rest of the school year:
We are hoping to add some fun activities and "walk thru" events for the Seniors hopefully in March/April. The senior class presidency is currently working on those as well as dates. The following dates have been set...
* Event tickets will be available for purchase via CVCHS webstore
We would love to post a collage of your Senior at various events at the end of the year, Senior Brunch/Books & Burritos and Graduation. We ask you make a collage of your senior on a 11x14 piece of paper. Then take the collage to UPS, or any facility that can laminate. Deadline TBD... sometime in May.
We want to thank all the individuals that helped our impromptu drive-thru in January. From donating gift cards, money and helping with the drive-thru itself, words cannot express our gratitude. A special thank you to Dunkin' Donuts for donating the donuts. It was so fun to see the kids with smiles on their faces, despite this not being the year they envisioned. We promise to make sure the kids, while obeying all COVID guidelines, will have some activities to remember this year.
Due to COVID restrictions, this has been tough. In the past, money was raised to help offset the cost of various events such as Grad Night, but due to the pandemic, we haven't had the opportunity to get out there. This will be a topic we discuss at our meeting on March 4th. If anyone has suggestions, we are open!

CVCHS Grad Night 2021
This is a tough one. Since the beginning of the school year, the senior activities committee have explored every option since we didn't know what life was going to be like in June 2021. Tiffany Habermeyer, one of the activities chairs, has spent countless hours researching and communicating with all possible venues. We are hoping that as the COVID restrictions lift, more doors will be open. We have explored Disney, Six Flags, Santa Cruz Boardwalk, Bay Cruise, on campus and other venues. Not to bore you with the details, but there are many facets to the various venues and the COVID restrictions tier. Just know we are looking into everything and what to make sure to have something fun for our seniors!
