**UPDATES IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19**
Update on 6/6/2020
We wanted to wait until the graduation fesitivities were over to announce Disney Parks Grad Night will be cancelled. While Disneyland is hopeful to reopen in July, there are still too many unknowns that will most likely prohibit our kids from enjoying the celebration as planned, if at all. The charter company wasn't confident based on the current slow progress of Disney World's reopening, the severe crowd limitations and restrictions in place while Disneyland isn't even in phase 1 of reopening which would be opening Downtown Disney with the amusement parks to open roughly a month later. Given those factors, it makes best sense to cancel the event. While we don't think this comes as a shock to anyone, we know it's one more disappointment we were hoping to avoid.
For grad night refunds, NO action is required, UNLESS you have moved residences during the school year. If not, the Fiscal Officer, Marisa Veyna, will be processing refunds for all monies paid towards Grad Night. Monies will be refunded via check via U.S. Mail. Please allow 30 business days for processing. Thank you for your patience.
In the near future, the school will provide details on how to obtain copies of the photos taken during the graduation ceremonies as well as information on yearbook distribution once they arrive. The school's yearbook teacher is expecting them to be delivered as early as the first week of July hopefully.
It has been our pleasure working with many of you on behalf of our seniors! We're thankful for the paths crossed, the memories made and the great ideas and creativity so many of you have had and shared. We only wish the year would have played out as planned. Certainly not our hopes for our kids and definitely not during their last year of high school, but unavoidable as we all know painfully to well. We only hope our kiddos are more prepared for challenges that most likely will arise in their lifetime. They will now have profound insight having had a front row seat during this pandemic and will move forward with newly created resilience having had this experience and having faced deep disappointment. On the bright side, they will rebound and recover and have many wonderful celebrations and milestones to look forward to in their very bright futures! And they will have some interesting stories to share about being part of The Class of 2020 forever noted in our history!
Lisa Vallero Butterfield will keep the senior activities email and facebook page active for awhile longer if anyone has any questions, concerns, etc. So please don't hesitate to reach out if needed. We wish you all the very best and hope to witness some of the great things our kids are destined for! We hope you enjoy the rest or your summer! Take the very best care!

For those interested in helping raise money to help offset the costs associated with Senior Activities and Grad Night, we have some opportunities to work local events and earn money. Based on the rules, parents and some students, can work shifts and earn monies and split tips which can be used to pay for activities throughout the school year and for Grad Night, etc.
If you're interested or would like to learn more, contact Lisa Vallero Butterfield, using the email button at the bottom of the page.
Details will be provided in the next 2-3 weeks. These wont be due until May 1, 2020. Gretchen Taylor and Becky Soberon have graciously offered to chair this project. More to come!
